05For founders
Founder builds and advisory
Focused implementation or advisory for bootstrapped founders who need a working system, not an enterprise retainer.
Who it is for
Indie founders and small teams who already have an offer, need distribution or ops help, and want a scoped project they can finish.
Outcome
You leave with a written scope, a working piece of the system, and a clear next step tied to a playbook you can keep running.
Typical scope
What usually gets delivered.
Exact scope is written before work begins. These are the pieces most projects include.
- 01
Problem and offer clarity session
- 02
One primary channel or ops workflow
- 03
Build or advisory scoped in writing
- 04
Handoff notes and next experiments
How it runs
From first note to handoff.
- 01
Offer and bottleneck session
One working session to get plain about what you sell, who buys it, and which single channel or system is currently the constraint. Most founders arrive with three candidates and leave with one.
- 02
Scope one finishable thing
You get a written scope for one project with a definition of done, an end date, and a fixed quote. If advisory would serve you better than a build, the scope says so and prices accordingly.
- 03
Build or advise, on a cadence
We either build the system in your accounts or work through the playbook with you in short weekly check-ins, so nothing drifts for a month unnoticed.
- 04
Ship, then hand you the keys
You leave with the working piece, handoff notes, and the next two or three experiments to run without us. The engagement ends on the date the scope named.
A good fit
A solo founder with paying customers and no repeatable way of getting more of them.
A two-person team that keeps starting new channels and finishing none of them.
You have read the playbooks, agree with the approach, and want one of them installed properly.
You need ops help, like a CRM or a lead workflow, sized for a bootstrapped budget instead of an enterprise one.
Not a fit
You are pre-offer and still validating the idea. Talk to customers first; there is nothing for us to install yet.
You want someone to find product-market fit for you. Nobody can sell you that.
You are looking for a growth team on permanent retainer to own the whole funnel. We scope projects you can finish.
About pricing
We have not published prices. Every engagement, build or advisory, starts with a written scope and a fixed quote, so a bootstrapped budget knows exactly what it is committing to and when it ends. If the first session shows you do not need us yet, the playbooks are free and we will point you at the right one.
Common questions
Asked before most projects.
Build or advisory, how do I know which I need?
You usually cannot tell going in, and that is fine. The first session sorts it. If the constraint is a system we can build, we scope a build. If it is decisions and sequencing, advisory is cheaper and faster. The written scope names which one you are buying and why.
How long is an engagement?
Builds run two to six weeks depending on scope. Advisory is a fixed block of weekly sessions rather than an open-ended arrangement. Either way there is an end date in writing, because open-ended engagements are how founders end up funding someone else's payroll.
Who owns what we build?
You do, from day one. Everything gets built in accounts registered to you, and we work as invited collaborators you can remove the day we are done. Your codebase, your CRM, your analytics, your list.
What happens after the project ends?
You get handoff notes and a short list of next experiments tied to a playbook you can run on your own. Plenty of founders come back later for the next piece, and when that happens the process is the same: session, written scope, fixed quote.
